Hello to you all in Blogland......can you believe I have reached 200 followers.....I am very happy to have done that before the follower thing all changes :)

This is a really quick post to share the card that I have made for the Less is More challenge where the theme is Die Cuts and Punches

I bought this die called Mini Pin Wheel from Lil Inker just after Christmas and have only just got round to using it!

The yellow die cut is a nestie and the blue scallop circle is a die cut from Craftwork Cards.

Spring is in the Air - New Release Day and Blog Hop at Ladybug Crafts Ink!

We are so excited at Ladybug Crafts Ink as its new release day today of the digi collection Floral Delights.

All of the DT team have been teasing you and each other with sneaky peeks and we have only seen the image that we have used for our cards so we can't wait to see the whole collection.

So onto the rules of the Hop - which are...

a) Visit each of the DT members in order and leave a comment on each of their blog hop posts.

b) There will be a LETTER the challenge blog and on each of the DT's blogs - note these down! At the end of the hop the letters you have collected will spell a word. Email us at lcichallengeblog@aol.com with the word you have spelt .

Happy Monday! Did you all have a great weekend?
Mine didn't go to plan because of the weather so my bestest friend Robyn who lives down in Surrey is coming this weekend as we postponed because of the forecasted snow on Saturday.
I did a bit of work and also managed to make some cards which are mostly DT work which you will see soon.

Sneaky Peek

Morning to you all,
This is a scheduled post so I hope Mr Blogger is behaving himself. There is a lot of excitement amongst the Design Team at Ladybug Crafts Ink at the moment as there is a new release on 14th February along with a blog hop!!!
So all of us Ladybugs have only seen the image that head Ladybug Kerry sent us, although I think some have tried to get their hands on the whole set.heheheeee... So its going to be a great surprise for us all when the cards and images are revealed next Tuesday. How exciting!
I ended up making two cards with my image so here are my sneaky peeks........ I think you are going to Love it....such a versatile image too.

So the prediction was right and we have got a covering of snow. It was snowing most of the afternoon yesterday......very fine like icing sugar powder and then carried on up until about midnight getting quite heavy at times. Looks like it won't be hanging around though as I don't think we have any more forecast. I guess some will be happy that we have it and others not so happy!

I did a bit of work and then some crafting yesterday and then more crafting :) Hope you are all keeping snuggly and warm if you have the same weather as us.

.........I thought I would make a card that makes you think of Spring!!! The image is called Just Bloomed and is a digital image from Birdie Brown
I love these images which are cute and great to colour in.

I'm In Stitches - Ready Teddy Go DT Card and DT Call.

Hope you are all managing to keep warm this morning as it certainly is cold outside.

Challenge #6 has just opened at Ready Teddy Go........ I'm in Stitches.
All you need to do is make sure that you use a Teddy Bear as the main image on your card and add real or faux stitching....simples!!! You can also enter up to four times and have the whole month to come and join us. You could win a set of Aqua Promarkers.......so hope you manage to play along.

Laybug Crafts Ink - TLT Challenge - Loves me Loves me not - and some news!!

So for those of you that are regular followers you will know that I was picked as a GD for Ladybug Crafts Ink for December/January along with the lovely Catherine and Diane. Head Ladybug however has since asked us to stay!!!! Well we begged and after we bribed her she said yes. No in all seriousness Ladybug Crafts Ink was one of the first challenge blogs that I tried to join in with as many challenges as possible and it is a real honour to be asked to be part of the fantastic team. Good evening everyone, hope you are all ok and have had an enjoyable weekend. Mine has been very busy and has flown by. It's the first weekend for a while that I haven't managed to get much crafting done but it has been a good weekend.

How are you all doing? I am working on a new project at work which is really exciting and invovles a celebrity chef no less who I will be working with on Friday......very cool. So its busy busy busy and not much time for being creative with paper, glitter and glue!

I did get chance to make a quick card that was inspired by the super talented and lovely Mary J. Hope you dont mind Mary but I had to make a cute circular card. This is quite a small card as I havent got any large nesties for a grand calibur but I think it works for just a little note. The image is by Torico Birdie Brown.

I coloured it with Promarkers and used more paper scraps.
Flowers made using EK Success punch with liquid pearl centres.

Get up and go.........

Sorry its been a few days since I shared a card with you but its been a bit busy with one thing and another.....lots going on......decisions to make....all exciting stuff :)

I finally got chance to have a play and make a card this morning with a stamp from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

There is still a half price sale on all cling stamps at Ladybug Crafts Ink until the end of the month so why not pop over and treat yourself while stocks last!!!

I had to treat myself :) I spent some of my Christmas pennies on a few stamps.
One that really made me smile is called Get up and go. I have someone in mind to send this to and I know she will laugh out loud :)

Not a single new sheet of paper was cut into for this card but more scraps used!!! I paper pieced the chair and the lamp shade. The sentiment came with the stamp too.

It was great to see your fab creations for our last challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink which was to use your New Stash....it looks like you were all treated very well for Christmas. Sorry if you havent received as many comments on your entries but I think we are all experiencing huge problems with Mr Blogger!!!

So now its time for a new challenge which has been chosen by Sue and she has challenged us to use Bows.

Birds - LIM Challenge

Its been quite a while since I had the chance to join in with the challenge over at Less is More but this week I managed to make this card at the weekend.

This is what they are asking for this week

ONE LAYER CARD

with the subject of

Remember to add NO additional layers and to keep embellishments to a minimum

For my card I have used an image that I have had for a long time from Pollycraft called Summer Things - Cake

I printed the image directly onto the cardstock and coloured with Copics.

The icing and the beak have been glazed with Glossy Accents.

I used a EK Success border punch down the front of the card. Sentiment - Forever Friends - Black and Gold Collection

Christmas Card Club

I lost track with our little Christmas Card Club before Christmas but hopefully I will be ok for a while again now. So this is the first challenge of the year for us and we have had some new girls join us. Make sure you check out their creations which are listed on my side bar.

This time the lovely Keryn set the challenge to create a THIN card! Less than 5mm deep once in envelope ie no buttons, bows or 3d flowers! For my card I have used an image from My Favourite Things called Tweeny Teen Frosty Friends
I have coloured the image with Copics and added Stickles.
Paper again is from my scrap box, I am really enjoying using up some paper......still a long way to go

The sentiment came with the stamp.
Hope I am allowed the twine bow Keryn!!

I am still favouring the less is more style card so here is another one. The image is called Love Graffiti and is from Penny Black. I got this stamp from the super talented Tabs at Tabby Craft Designs. She has some stamps for Sale and of course I couldn't resist!!!

I am trying to join in with more challenges again so here is one at Pixie Dust Studio . This is what they have asked

Pixie is challenge you all to pick ONE color and have fun with it -

this week, you are to create a MONOCHROMATIC card/project!

White and a colored image is fine, but we really want to see ONE dominate color on there :)

So here is my card

I have watercoloured the image with pencils.

Using up some Stash

I bet you have all made some sort of crafty resolution. I have got so many scraps and off cuts of paper that I have decided I need to start using some of them up. So I am going to try and make some cards just using scraps. I have made 2 so far and here is one just using paper from by scrap bits box........its amazing what I have found in there lol....

Ladybug Crafts Ink GD card.

Back to work today......lets hope the day flies past.

So here is my second Guest Design card for Ladybug Crafts Ink and the challenge is

Anything Goes using New Stash!!

I bet you all had some sort of new stuff for Christmas. So come and join us. It would be great if you use an image from the Ladybug Crafts Shop but you don't have to. Remember there is a great half price sale on at the moment on all stamps.

For my card I used a digi called Magnum and Lily Cupcake Surprise (the first of my new things)coloured with Copics

New Nestabilities - Beaded Circles - (not showing up that well as I covered some of the design with the image and a scalloped circle)

Lastly new Yellow Liquid Pearls used in the centre of the flowers.

The cupcake has been glazed with Glossy Accents.

Christmas Card Club and Freebie again!

So the end of the Holidays are here for me as it is the last day before heading back to work tomorrow. I have really had a lovely relaxing break and I'm sure tomorrow will be a bit of a shock to the system. Who knows what the New Year will bring in terms of work I am just going to wait and see :)

Ready Teddy Go DT Card In the Pink

Its the first of day the month and the first day of the New Year. Did you all have a good time celebrating? I am sat looking out of my craft room window and have seen some lads rolling in from last nights celebrations......almost literally well I guess they won't see much of the day! I don't think their Mum was too Happy that she had to pick them up at just gone 8am either!!!

This is going to be a long post so you best get comfy. I don't predict that this will be a regular occurence and that all my posts will need you to be sitting comfortably with a cuppa!

Its challenge Number 6 at Ready Teddy Go Thanks to everyone that joined us for the last challenge it is always good to see your great cards. We have another relatively easy one to get you into the crafting spirit for the New Year and we hope that lots of you can join us.

A Freebie

I just love this free stamp that came with Papercraft Inspirations Magazine.
A really simple layout and design to show off the cute image.

I cut and aperture from a white card blank and then made a frame using nesties.
I put the image on an embossed background to make it stand out even more.
The image is coloured with Copics. The top is paper pieced and the boots glazed with Glossy Accents. A few liquid pearls to finish off.

DT Call and Red and Kraft again!!

I have a serious addiction to Red and Kraft.......... I hope i get over it at some point! Hope you are not getting bored with the colour combination.

Before I share my card I have some questions.......

If you have answered yes to all three question then you could be just the person we are looking for.
Sadly Danielle and Suzi have decided to step down from the Design Team at Winter Wonderland. Danielle has left immediately but Suzi is hosting the challenge on 23rd December and will then be leaving us. We would like to thank them for their beautiful creations and wish them well for the future.

We are therefore looking for 2 new DT members.

WOW at Totally Ladybug Tuesday and Some News!!!!

Totally Ladybug Tuesday is one of the challenges that I try to join in with as much as possible and I saw that last week they had a call for Guest Designers for December. I entered a card and gave it a go and guess what...........yes I have been chosen woohooo how cool is that!!!!!

This week they have another great challenge WOW - White on White which Pam has chosen.
So as I am still off work with time to play I have made a card.

The stamp is from Ladybug Crafts Ink called Cupcake Cutie Cherry on Top and is one of my favourites.
The image is coloured with Copics and added Glossy Accents on the Cherry and Stickles on the Icing. Has anyone else had a problem with Silicone glue making marks through the smoooth cardstock. I have noticed on this image this morning that there are some grey patches and can only think it is the glue :(

Sunday Spotlight on Teddy Bo and Catching Up

So the journey home from Whitby was pretty uneventful. We did however have a lovely stop off to see my Mum and Dad and of course Libbee. It was a great way to break up the journey :)

While we were away I had an email from Nicole at Teddy Bo to say that they would like to Spotlight me and some of my cards this Sunday over on their blog........How cool is that!? Why not pop over and see my cards :) I am so happy, Thanks Nicole and all at Teddy Bo Towers.

I have a lot of catching up to do with my cards especially for the Christmas Card Club. Before I went away I completed 3 big orders for Christmas Cards so I can now concentrate on playing catch up. The lovely Clare challenged us to make a set of four cards.......a great challenge indeed.

Sledging with Daddy

Here is another CAS card....oooh I am liking these...but I keep looking at all my patterned papers that are sitting on the shelf and wondering when I will start using them up.

This is a cute LOTV image that I think I have only used once before and he just caught my eye today. I see that there are more stamps coming out from LOTV in a couple of weeks!

This one is simply coloured with Copics and then added Stickles.
Embossing folder and Ribbon........Simples again!

I definetely feel like I am cheating on the card making if I don't actually colour the image in myself but I needed to get some cards made so opted for the easy option. I still enjoyed making them so thats all good. I used the very cute Tatty Teddy and came up with the following.

Christmas Card Club - Sketch

At last I have managed to get some time to myself and catch up with a few blogs. The last 7 weeks I have been supporting one of the schools that we took on the catering contract for at the begining of September and it has been a long hard slog. But it looks like all the hard work is paying off at last.
So I have a couple of days off next week to rest and get ready for the next half term. Typical that I started with a cold on Thursday and think the worst of it hit me yesterday so onwards and upwards from today........ I'm sure some card making will help do the trick.

Christmas Card Club

Wow where did that weekend go! I was working all day yesterday so its been a short weekend for me :(
The challenge for the Christmas Card Club was set by the lovely Claire and she wanted to see blue, silver and embossing.
Well I hope I am forgiven as my card doesn't quite tick all the boxes (no silver just the sparkly stickles) but I thought I would try my luck.

The image is from Wild Rose Studios and is Mia with Sammy the Reindeer. It was part of my Birthday present from bestest friend Robyn :)

Super Quick cards with Tatty Teddy

I am still here everybody I just haven't had the time for blogging but hope I will join you all again soon. I needed something last weekend that I could do realtively quickly to take a break form work. So I made 3 quick cards using a Tatty Teddy kit. I felt like I was cheating not having a hand coloured image on the card.

I hope to get in my craft room tomorrow so that I can unwind a little after another very hard week at work.

Back to work today after a lovely relaxing weekend. Its all very unsettling at work and I am not looking forward to my next few weeks doing a job that I really am not looking forward :( Oh well lets hope it flies by.

Bon Voyage..

Less is More has another great challenge.......Something that Moves
I decided to go for a boat that moves in the water but also attached a mini spring to the image so that it moves on the card too!

The waves were made using Dienamics Die - Ric Rac and added some stickles.
Image is coloured with Pencils and then cut out using oval Nesties.
The image is from Cathie Shuttleworth - Bon Voyage as is the sentiment.

Touch Feely

Touchy Feely is the theme of the challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week.

I have used a 5" square recycled Papermania card.
The image is coloured with water colour pencils and had stickles for added sparkle and texture. I also decoupaged the star.
The snowballs I made with cotton wool and added more sparkle.
Red felt was cut using Nesties.
Bakers Twine and Card Candy for more texture.
Sentiment is from Hero Arts.

I just wanted to share this card with you as I really love the image from Lili of the Valley. called Mix it and Make it.....I wouldn't be so happy if the little pesks were real I would probably run a mile...lol.

I think "Simples" cards are all I can do at the moment....lol.
What about all those lovely papers and embellishments that I have stashed away!! They are definetely nowhere to be seen on this card!
Kerry chose the theme for us of using a Robin, Holly and a Postbox as an optional image. Well I don't seem to have the postbox but have a tick against the other two.
The robin and the holly are both Penny Black Stamps and the Sentiement is from one of the new Fizzy Moon stamps. Coloured with Prisma Pencils I used a red promarker to make a border round the edge of the card.

Well I haven't been doing much crafting recently but here is a quick and simple card that I made the other evening.

I have used one of the Lili of the Valley stamps.

Stamped directly onto the card and then coloured the image with Prisma Pencils.

Added some Stickles.

Sentiment free with Creativity Magazine.
