Laybug Crafts Ink - TLT Challenge - Loves me Loves me not - and some news!!

So for those of you that are regular followers you will know that I was picked as a GD for Ladybug Crafts Ink for December/January along with the lovely Catherine and Diane.  Head Ladybug however has since asked us to stay!!!! Well we begged and after we bribed her she said yes.  No in all seriousness Ladybug Crafts Ink was one of the first challenge blogs that I tried to join in with as many challenges as possible and it is a real honour to be asked to be part of the fantastic team.  Thanks Kerry for letting me stay :)

So this fortnights challenge was set by Julie and is called
Loves me, Loves me not
This gives you quite a lot of scope anything from Valentines to Engagement, Anniversary, Best Friends etc etc.

Christmas Card Club

Good evening everyone, hope you are all ok and have had an enjoyable weekend.  Mine has been very busy and has flown by.  It's the first weekend for a while that I haven't managed to get much crafting done but it has been a good weekend.

So its time for another challenge for the Christmas Card Club and this time Pinky set the theme for us to use a critter.

I have used an image called Snow Bunny from Meljens Designs
Coloured with Copics and added stickles and liquid pearls for the buttons on his jacket.

Winter Wonderland DT Card - Swirls and Pearls

Happy Friday!  Another week almost over!  So its time for another challenge at Winter Wonderland and Miria has chosen the theme

For my card I used the adorable Fizzy Moon and added swirls which are from a Forever Friends Stamp set.  The pearls are self adhesive and also some liquid pearls.
Fizzy Moon is coloured with Copics and Promarkers.

Doggie Delight

Happy Wednesday everyone.....
Half way through another week and it doesn't look like 2012 will be going any slower than 2011 did!
Here is a crad that I have made using a Lili of the Valley image called Doggie Delight.
The image is coloured with Promarkers and highlighted on the shoes and cup cake with Glossy Accents.

Wishing you a lovely day..........

How are you all doing?   I am working on a new project at work which is really exciting and invovles a celebrity chef no less who I will be working with on Friday......very cool.  So its busy busy busy and not much time for being creative with paper, glitter and glue!

I did get chance to make a quick card that was inspired by the super talented and lovely Mary J.   Hope you dont mind Mary but I had to make a cute circular card.  This is quite a small card as I havent got any large nesties for a grand calibur but I think it works for just a little note.  The image is by Torico  Birdie Brown.
I coloured it with Promarkers and used more paper scraps.
Flowers made using EK Success punch with liquid pearl centres.

Get up and go.........

Sorry its been a few days since I shared a card with you but its been a bit busy with one thing and another.....lots going on......decisions to make....all exciting stuff :)

I finally got chance to have a play and make a card this morning with a stamp from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

There is still a half price sale on all cling stamps at Ladybug Crafts Ink until the end of the month so why not pop over and treat yourself while stocks last!!!

I had to treat myself :) I spent some of my Christmas pennies on a few stamps.
One that really made me smile is called Get up and go.  I have someone in mind to send this to and I know she will laugh out loud :)



Not a single new sheet of paper was cut into for this card but more scraps used!!!  I paper pieced the chair and the lamp shade. The sentiment came with the stamp too.

Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge - Bows

It was great to see your fab creations for our last challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink which was to use your New Stash....it looks like you were all treated very well for Christmas.  Sorry if you havent received as many comments on your entries but I think we are all experiencing huge problems with Mr Blogger!!! 

So now its time for a new challenge which has been chosen by Sue and she has challenged us to use Bows.

For my card I have used Dog Walker Nikki .  Dont forget that there is still a half price sale on all cling stamps at Ladybug Crafts Ink until the end of the month so why not pop over and treat yourself while stocks last!!!

Birds - LIM Challenge

Its been quite a while since I had the chance to join in with the challenge over at Less is More but this week I managed to make this card at the weekend.

This is what they are asking for this week

Remember to add NO additional layers and to keep embellishments to a minimum
 
For my card I have used an image that I have had for a long time from Pollycraft called Summer Things - Cake

 
I printed the image directly onto the cardstock and coloured with Copics.
The icing and the beak have been glazed with Glossy Accents. 
I used a EK Success border punch down the front of the card. Sentiment - Forever Friends - Black and Gold Collection

Christmas Card Club

I lost track with our little Christmas Card Club before Christmas but hopefully I will be ok for a while again now.  So this is the first challenge of the year for us and we have had some new girls join us. Make sure you check out their creations which are listed on my side bar.

This time the lovely Keryn set the challenge to create a THIN card! Less than 5mm deep once in envelope ie no buttons, bows or 3d flowers!  For my card I have used an image from My Favourite Things called Tweeny Teen Frosty Friends
I have coloured the image with Copics and added Stickles.
Paper again is from my scrap box, I am really enjoying using up some paper......still a long way to go
The sentiment came with the stamp.

Feeling Blue

Hope you are all keeping warm....very cold here today but lovely to see the sun shining.  I decided to stay in the warm.
I have made the following card again using scraps from my scrap box.....so far so good.
The image is from LOTV and I have coloured with Copics.


The flower is made using a new Fringe Flower Die from Lil Inker and the felt is from Paper and String
The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat 
I have added Stickles and Liquid Pearls to the image.

So with Christmas done and dusted our thoughts are turning to Valentines Day....

I am still favouring the less is more style card so here is another one. The image is called Love Graffiti and is from Penny Black.  I got this stamp from the super talented Tabs at Tabby Craft Designs.  She has some stamps for Sale and of course I couldn't resist!!!

Paper is Bo Bunny and again is out of my scrap box.....
The hearts have been cut out using X Cut Nesting Heart Dies, they have then been glazed with Glossy Accents.

Monochramatic at Pixie Dust

Good morning to you all in Blogland.  Hope you have a lovely day planned.
I am trying to join in with more challenges again so here is one at Pixie Dust Studio . This is what they have asked

Using up some Stash

I bet you have all made some sort of crafty resolution.  I have got so many scraps and off cuts of paper that I have decided I need to start using some of them up.   So I am going to try and make some cards just using scraps.   I have made 2 so far and here is one just using paper from by scrap bits box........its amazing what I have found in there lol....

Ladybug Crafts Ink GD card.

Back to work today......lets hope the day flies past.

So here is my second Guest Design card for Ladybug Crafts Ink and the challenge is
 Anything Goes using New Stash!! 
 I bet you all had some sort of new stuff for Christmas.  So come and join us.  It would be great if you use an image from the Ladybug Crafts Shop but you don't have to.  Remember there is a great half price sale on at the moment on all stamps.

For my card I used a digi called Magnum and Lily Cupcake Surprise  (the first of my new things)coloured with Copics

New Nestabilities - Beaded Circles - (not showing up that well as I covered some of the design with the image and a scalloped circle)
Lastly new Yellow Liquid Pearls used in the centre of the flowers.

Christmas Card Club and Freebie again!

So the end of the Holidays are here for me as it is the last day before heading back to work tomorrow. I have really had a lovely relaxing  break and I'm sure tomorrow will be a bit of a shock to the system.  Who knows what the New Year will bring in terms of work I am just going to wait and see :)

Ready Teddy Go DT Card In the Pink

Its the first of day the month and the first day of the New Year.  Did you all have a good time celebrating?  I am sat looking out of my craft room window and have seen some lads rolling in from last nights celebrations......almost literally well I guess they won't see much of the day!  I don't think their Mum was too Happy that she had to pick them up at just gone 8am either!!!

This is going to be a long post so you best get comfy.  I don't predict that this will be a regular occurence and that all my posts will need you to be sitting comfortably with a cuppa!
