"Make a Splash!" is the challenge chosen by the lovely super talented Mary Jover at Pollycraftthis week and I thought I would join in. So for my card I have used a gorgeous Molly Bloom stamp coloured with Prisma Pencils. The rain coat has been paper pieced using paper from October Afternoon. The buttons have been made with Liquid Pearls as have the spots on the wellingtons. On the red paper I have created a grid line using my Hougie Board. The ribbon is from my stash and the charm from my bestest friend Robyn.
Thanks for looking and have a great day. Hugs Sally xxx
So I hope you enjoyed the sunshine over the weekend, heres hoping that you all managed to at least see some rays! Monday is here again and I made a card to share at Make it Monday I couldn't resist this cutie from Lili of the Valley called Milly Hello.
She is coloured with Prisma Pencils. Background embossed with Sizzix embossing folder. Ribbon from stash
So some of us have had our hols :) but I know a lot of you will still be looking forward in anticipation to your time off/away.
I think this card fits perfectly for the Summer Holiday theme over at Pollycraft Monday I made this for bestest friend Robyn to wish her a great holiday back to her home in South Africa. The image really makes me smile and is from Penny Black - Beach Day
The Paper was from a Card Making Magazine
The Sun and the Sentiment are also stamps from the Penny Black Beach Day set.
So as I am around today before heading back to work tomorrow I thought I would take the opportunity to join in with Make it Monday. I have a new card to share that I put together this morning.
The image is one of the new releases from Lili of the Valley called Milly Just for You and I just think she is cute. Coloured with Prisma Pencils blended with Sansador Paper is from Tulip Collection by Papermania and you can't see from the picture but it is actually linen textured.
Sentiment - My Sentiments Exactly
Adhesive Pearls for the buttons on her dress
Ribbon from stash Hope you are having a good day. The sun is shining here so time to go put the washing out. Hugs Sally xxx
So we are back from our 2 weeks away and we had a great time. It was very relaxing and I think we managed to escape the worst of the rain as we only had a couple of days of rain really. I had an extra special treat on the way home and stopped off at Sir Stampalot to pick up a couple of things that I had ordered before going away. What a lovely welcome we got from Janice along with a lovely cup of tea. We were there for about an hour before the final stretch of the journey home.
Today I am sharing the card that I made for my Dad for Father's Day using another great Teddy Bo image.
Coloured with Prisma Pencils and blended with Sansador
Paper - DCWV.
Card Candy - Craftwork Cards
I am entering this into the following challenges -
The challenge over at Winter Wonderland has been chosen by Kate and is to use Christmas Flowers
I found this one really difficult. I am not entirely happy with it either :(
The stamp was a Sizzix stamp that I bought ages ago on sale from Crafts U Love.
I have coloured the Poinsettia with Copics and Prismas and the added stickles.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts
Ribbon from stash.
Thanks for popping over.

By the time you read this we will be on our way to our second destination near Holt in Norfolk. I have had a great time over the last week. I decided to take some stamped images on holiday with me in the hope that there would be a decent table and decent light so I might indulge in one of my favourite past times :). I find it so relaxing and it takes me into another little world...heheheee. There is a great table in the kitchen which is right near the window and there are lots of inset halogen lights in the ceiling......perfect :) I have only been stamping and colouring for a couple of years and started with a small collecton of Copics which I enjoyed using a lot I then bought some promarkers which also gave good results. The problem is I have not really got an idea about shading. As I started looking at more and more blogs I saw the fantastic results that had been achieved using Prisma Pencils and Polychromos. The lovely Kerry aka A Load of Old Pickle gave me some good advice on what she uses and so Mike investigated on Ebay and got me 36 Prisma Pencils to get me started. I also have a set of 36 Polychromos also off Ebay!!! I know I am still learning but I love the result that you can get with both types of pencil, the Polychromos being less waxy than the Prismas. So to give you a sneaky peek this is what I have done so far!!!!
I think you can see a few favourites amongst the images. Not everyones idea of a great time but I love it and now I am looking forward to making them all into cards. Thanks for popping over and hope you are all ok. Hugs Sally xxx
How are you all doing? This is another card that I made before my holiday so thought I would share this one with you. Another really quick card with simple layout which I think seems to be more my style.
Off the top of my head I am not too sure of the stamp set that this Penny Black image is from. This image is coloured with Promarkers. The balloon I have highlighed with Glossy Accents and the flowers with Stickles. Paper - DCWV Sentiment - Papermania
So we are heading towards the end of the first week of our hols. It has been a very relaxing week and I think we have both been able to switch off from the everyday hectic life that we normally lead! Last night we went for a lovely walk along the beach in Aldeburgh and thought I would share just a couple of photos that Mike took. Pop over to his blog for more about our hols and for more photos visit his Flickr page.
Now onto the card.......I made another card very similar to this one the other week but I just love this cutie from Lili of the Valley called Lorry Bear but thought I would share it and enter it into the Lili of the Valley 100th Challenge - Anything Goes This was one of the first images that I coloured in with the Prisma Pencils.

Hello everyone, You may want to pull up a chair and grab a cuppa as this is quite a long post this morning!
Winter Wonderland will be 2 on 30 May and we are celebrating by having a week long blog hop. We have 11 sponsors this week, yes, that’s right 11!!! But that’s not all because each member of the DT has some candy to give away too. Both teams are playing along this week plus Janet who joins us at the end of each month so that’s another 11 prizes to be won. We would like to have as many prize winners as possible so if your name is drawn for more than one prize we will draw again. That means 22 lucky people will win a prize this week. With so many prize winners we won’t be choosing a top 3 just for this week.
All you have to do to join in the fun is:
•· Play along with this week’s easy and fun challenge which is Blue and White Christmas •· Be a follower of Winter Wonderland •· Visit each member of the DT and collect a letter •· Leave them a comment and enter their candy draw •· Rearrange the letters to make a two word Christmas Carol •· E-mail the answer to Winter Wonderland
Of course you don’t have to join in the blog hop if you don’t want to. You can still enter this week’s challenge and be in with the chance of winning one of the 11 prizes this week but why miss out on doubling your chance of winning.

Hello its Sally here glad you have popped over to my blog. This is where I share my creations with you mostly made from paper.
I have been card making now for about 8 years and absolutely love it. I find crafting is a great escape and very relaxing. I tend to spend my spare time which isnt always that much doing some sort of crafting. I can sit for hours colouring images especially with Polychromo or Prisma pencils.
My most recent craft is crochet which I am learning slowly.
It would be great if you leave me a comment so I know you have been. I hope you find some inspiration here at my blog.
