Hello everyone......I am having major problems with Blogger as it is not letting me create any new posts so Mike has helped me set up my email address to be able to post entries on my Blog!!! What would I do without him! So this is a bit of a test post to share my very first Magnolia stamped image card. Lets hope this works ....fingers crossed.
Hope to catch up with all your great creations over the next few days so apologies for the lack of comments recently.
Hope you are all managing to keep warm here in the UK and despite the weather managing to get yourselves sorted with the countless lists of things to be done before the Big Day!! I am sorry I haven’t been around but as ever works seems to be taking over all my spare time. I did manage to make the following card for my bestest friend Robyn.
I used a side step card and decorate with embossed paper.
The stamps were a combination of High Hopes and Molly Blooms.
The Winter Background is from Molly Bloom and is one of the stamps I got at thence back in November.
Beary Good Friends and South Pole Pals are the High Hopes stamps.
I coloured them with Promarkers and as ever added some sparkle
I am entering this card into the challenge at Moving Along with the Times which is Let it Snow (but not too much literally I hear you cry)
I have had quite a few orders for cards this year and one of the orders was for Mike's swimming teacher who wanted 60 cards with the theme of .........you guessed it Swimming!!!! I used a design from Bugaboo Stampsand added some Christmas Baubles and made the image to look like a bauble. She loved them.... Thanks for looking. Hugs Sally xxx

I have coloured it using a combination of Promarkers and Copics and added Frosted Lace Stickles for a bit of sparkle. The background paper is Dovecraft as is the ribbon. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

The stamp I have used is called Sledging with Daddy and is from Lili of the Valley coloured with Promarkers. I have embossed the background and for the snowflakes - MS snowflake border punch. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment from Craftwork cards. Lots of glitter and stickles for added sparkle.
Thanks for looking and stopping by. Hugs Sally xxx
I am also entering this into Penny Black Allsorts - Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Winter Wonderland - Winter Sport So how do I pick my favourite things......hmmmm well it has to be the cute hedgehogs and of course snowy. I then had the dilema that I couldn't just pick one stamp.....I had to use 3!! The other favourite thing has to be freebies so the background paper and the sentiment were free with Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine. Of course there also had to be snowflakes and glitter to finish it off.
So how is your week going so far? Mine is still busy busy with not enough hours in the day.
Well here is my entry for the "Let it Snow" challenge at Penny Black The image is Caroling Trio and is coloured with a combination of Copics and Promarkers. Embossed background using Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder. Sentiment - Craftwork Cards Patterned paper from stash. Snowflakes - woodware punch
This challenge certainly made me think......Zig-Zag or Triangles. I used an image from Mimi's Christmas, coloured with Promarkers Background Paper - DCWV Christmas Stack Bunting made using a triangle from Woodware Rocket Christmas Tree Stamp Set coloured with Promarkers. Sentiment - Craftwork Cards
Hello everyone, I bet some of you are enjoying an extra hour in bed.........for me its an extra hour to play!!!!
I made a couple of these jars earlier in the year to see if anyone would want to buy them as gifts for Christmas. I have got a few on order so thought I better make a start instead of leaving them til the last minute. I have simply layered the ingredients in the jar, printed out the method and then made a tag. Decorated the jar with ribbon and the top with die cut snowflakes. They make great gifts and are realtively quick and easy to produce. Thanks for loking. Hugs Sally xxx
The image is a Stampavie Clear Stamp called Jolly Holly. I have coloured it using Promarkers and highlighted bits of the image using a glitter gel pen. The card is made from a gold piece of card with Seasons Greetings embossed. Background paper is from DCWV - the Christmas Stack and Papermania - Silent Night
Hello its Sally here glad you have popped over to my blog. This is where I share my creations with you mostly made from paper.
I have been card making now for about 8 years and absolutely love it. I find crafting is a great escape and very relaxing. I tend to spend my spare time which isnt always that much doing some sort of crafting. I can sit for hours colouring images especially with Polychromo or Prisma pencils.
My most recent craft is crochet which I am learning slowly.
It would be great if you leave me a comment so I know you have been. I hope you find some inspiration here at my blog.
