Don't be Square at Ladybug Crafts Ink

Happy Tuesday......hope you all had an enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend.   It was quite relaxing in our house.  We did manage to get a few jobs done around the house as well as relaxing :)

Its time for another challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink this time the lovely Pam has challenged us to make anything but square.    So for me it had to be another circular card but this time an easel shape.

I have  used Bride Nikki for the first time and I loved making this card.  Quite a simple one but quite effective I think. Sorry again about the pictures :(

The image  was shaded as I can't really call it colouring on this one...
Circle Nesties used for the card base.
Silver Mirri Card from stash
Papermania pearls, Liquid pearls and stickles
Sentiment - Ladybug Crafts Ink - Baby set
Thanks for stopping by today.

Less is More - Yellow

I think it is pretty much the same all over the UK with a rainy Bank Holiday!!! It just wouldn't be the same really without the rain would it!?

So I have been busy doing a few more jobs around the house.........if the truth be known I am getting the place a bit tidier for the Estate Agent comimg on Thursday :)........ fingers crossed he will tell me something good.

I wasn't sure about the colour challenge over at Less is More this week as it isn't a colour that I use that much.   While I was tidying up in my craft room I found a Unity Stamp Set which I thought would do the trick.  So I have inked up the stamp with Yellow ink and then added some stickles and pearls.
The sentiment around the image is from Personal Impressions.

Thanks for popping over.......a bit more tidying up for me I think before starting on the dinner.
Hope you have all had a good day despite the weather.

May Flowers at Sassy Cheryls

Yay its Saturday and an extra day added onto our weekend in the UK  :)  Sshhhh but the sun is out at the moment, hope it stays for a while.

So last night I was looking at my digital images and saw some from Sassy Cheryls that haven't seen the light of day so I decided to get the pencils out and get colouring.
I have been meaning to join Lisa over at Wishcraft with her Waste not Wednesdays for the last 16 weeks but haven't got round to that either.  So this card fits perfectly for the challenge at Sassy Cheryls and Lisas little challenge too :)

Its a small circular card made with scalloped nesties.

Rubbish Photos again...not the camera I'm sure but the operator!!

The image is coloured as I said with pencils.
Paper I think was one of the very first paper stacks I bought from DCWV Spring Stack
Ribbon and twine from stash
Rolled flower from Marianne Die which hasnt had much use either :(
Can't quite decide on a sentiment so I am going to leave for now.

Right Im off to do the food shopping but I will be back later and hope to enter a few more challneges.

Thanks for popping over, hope you are up to something nice for the weekend.

We have a photo inspiration for you this week at Winter Wonderland and we can't wait to see your interpretation

We also have a great sponsor Crafters Companion  who are offering a £10 voucher to the winner

So onto my card which I am not too happy with...in real life it actually looks lovely and the silver ink on the baubles is so shiny but unforunately it's not showing the same effect on the picture :(

The image is matted onto silver mirri card and purple cardstock which looks black here....oh dear I think I need to concentrate on my photography skills

The bauble stamp and sentiment are both Hero Arts
Thats it from me today, thanks for visiting and I hope you get chance to play along with us.

Cuddle Time.....

I seem to be having a Lili of the Valley phase at the moment......as I keep saying so many stamps so little time. A lot of the LOTV ones have only seen the ink pad once so I am trying to ink some of them up again.

I love the cute Milly and this one is called Cuddle Time.  I really loved colouring this one.........with my pencils just for a change!  I think the Copics and Promarkers need to make an appearance again soon.

The layout is really simple as I think the image says it all.
Paper from stash - the green and brown reminded me of a Chocolate Lime.....lol!
Sentiment - Ladybug Crafts Ink.

Thanks for popping over today.
Hope you have a great day.
