Just Cute Bears Challenge #27

Well we have tidied up the garden today and got some more stuff ready to take to the tip......yeah!    We are basically preparing to put the house on the market in the new year so the big clear out has already started.  I think the craft room clear out will be one of the last things on the list :).

I have made this card for the Bear Necessities challenge over at Just Cute Bears this week.  They are looking for clean and simple cards this week and I think this would fits the bill.

Forever Friends stamped image coloured with Copics.
Embossed white card for background.  I have inked round the edges of all the cardstock with versamark Gold ink. 
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards.

Penny Black Challenge #111

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.  I have been watching bits of Craft Day on QVC and treated myself to the Martha Stewart punches.  I think you will be seeing them in a lot of my cards and projects from now on :)

I have made a card for the Christmas in July Challenge over at Penny Black.

Challenge #53 Happy Birthday

I am trying to enter a few more challenges at the moment but know it won't last long as work will no doubt take over again.

I have made a card for the challenge over at Pollycraft which is to make a Happy Birthday themed card.

I have used an image from Pollycraft coloured with Promarkers and Copics - Glossy accents to highlight the icing on the cake.

Challenge #26 Christmas in July

Its hard to think of  crafting for Christmas but as we are already well into July it is not far away!!

For the challenge over at Just Cute Bears I have decorated a pail using the items below.


The patterned paper is from Kars and DCWV
Forever Friends image coloured with Copic pens.
Nestabilities used for cutting the circles and scallop circles.
Ribbon from my stash.
Snowflakes cut using Creatables .

Penny Black Challenge #110

Anything but a Card is the challenge over at Penny Black this week.
For my entry I have made a Mini Pizza Box using the tutorial over at Splitcoast Stampers.  The finished box is 4" x 1".
The box is made fron pink cardstock.
I have used an image from Betsy Bluebell Transparent Penny Black Stamps and coloured with Copic pens.  I have decoupaged the balloons and used glossy accents to highlight them.
Background gingham pearlescent paper is from my stash. 
Card candy from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon is from Dovecraft.

I am also going to enter this is the Basic Grey challenge which is Gingham.

Really enjoyed making this box.

I have managed to make quite a few cards over the weekend..........I didn't however get any work done as I thought I would.......I'm sure I will regret this as the week goes on.

LOTV Challenge 57 - Sketch

I am determined to keep using up some of the things that |I have had for a while and not put to good use.
LOTV have some great designs and I have used a number of their toppers for the last few years.
Best Friends - Story Time is the topper that I have used to create my card for the sketch challenge they have this week.

I have used DCWV backing paper and embossed the white card using a Sizzix dot embossing folder.

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

Just Cute Bears Challenge #24

Another week has flown by............
So what have you all got planned for the weekend, something better than me hopefully.  Work is so busy at the moment that I really need to do some work but we will see how much I actually manage to achieve.  All I can say is that the good intention is there at least.
I have just managed to make a card this morning for the Decoupage Challenge over at Just Cute Bears so its not all work and no play!!!!

A Couple more Quick Cards

I made these yesterday too and not a stamp in sight.  I think its hard sometimes to make cards using different techniques so thought I would try and make some quick cards using some of the embellishments etc that I have.

I never thought I would enjoy stamnping as much as I do but now virtually ever card has a stamnped and coloured image and sometimes they can be quite time consuming.
The following two cards have been made using Forever Friends stickers.
Backing papers are Forever Friends for Him and DCWV.

New Born to Shop Range

Today I have managed to spend most of the afternoon making cards!  It seems like ages since I spent an afternoon crafting.  I visted The Range this morning and picked up the latest copy of Creativity magazine.  I love the new Born to Shop products and had to indulge in some of the transfer stickers and clear stamps.
