Morning bloggers,
How are you all this morning...some not very happy from what I have been reading with new Blogger!!
It was a bit of a shock when mine changed the other night but I think I quite like it. One thing that I really like is the new look reading list, I think it is a lot easier to see what everyone has been up to. Yes it took a little bit of time to find a few things but I think I must be in the minority of people who like it!
Sorry I haven't been around over the weekend but just didn't feel like blogging. I went to get my hair done on Saturday at Mum and Dad's and we had a lovely day. We also got talking and reminiscing about when we were in California.....I was 10......hmmm quite a while ago then. Mum writes a diary everyday and has done pretty much since 1978and she leant me the diaries that she had kept for the two years we were over there so I have spent my weekend back in the lates 70's early 80's........
Anyway back to the Christmas Card Club, this is a group of us who make a crad every couple of weeks just for fun. Check out what everyone came up with as they are listed on my sidebar the lovely Clare challenged us to make Anything but a Card.... I used one of my favourite Forever Friends Christmas Stamps and made a picture. Sorry for the poor photography......don't look too closely as you will see my reflection!!!
The image is coloured on Kraft with Polychromo and Prisma pencils. Paper from stash. Frame - Papermania.
Well thats all from me today.
I will be back tomorrow with another challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink.
Hello to Shari my latest follower...glad you have joined me :)
Have a good day.
Hugs Sally xx

ReplyDeleteHello Sally!
ReplyDeleteSounds like youve had a lovely relaxing weekend plus a hair cut, well it doesnt get much better really does it! And as for the reminiscing, it does us good every now and then I think as it reminds us of what weve done with our lives and maybe refreshes some dreams.
What a gorgeous picture! I love your pencil colouring on Kraft and this is why! And as for Forever Friends well that's reminiscing for me!
Have a super week!

ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea to use that lovely image as a picture to frame - a perfect response to Clare's CCC challenge. Sounds as if you've had a good weekend reminiscing. I changed over to the new blogger a while ago - it took me a while to get used to it, but now it's just the 'norm' and I like it x

ReplyDeleteI changed over to the new interface a few weeks back and prefer it, the reading list is so much better.I had to go back to old blogger to add my signature and could not get back to new quick enough.
