Happy 60th.......

Happy Saturday to you all.
Hope you are all doing ok.  I have a card to share today that I made for a work colleague of Mikes.

I used a stamp that was one of the very first stamp sets that I bought many moons ago!  I am not sure who it is by though as I haven't got the original packaging.
It is quite a well used stamp and it is great to paper piece.

The sentiment is from Ladybug Crafts Ink.  I have added liquid pearls and stickles.

Have a great day whatever you get up to.

Winter Wonderland DT Ding Dong Merrily On High

So glad it's Friday again.    Time for a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland

this week's challenge -
Ding Dong Merrily On High
so we are looking for bells, they could be on the image or an embellishment.

Please remember Christmas projects only.

We are sponsored by  Crafter's Companion

with a £10 gift voucher!

I struggled with finding an image for this challenge so I went for a very CAS card using a Memory Box die.  I have also bee very short on time so it was another super duper quick card.

I added some liquid pearls to the bottom and stickles glitter glue on the bells.
Hope you can join us for the challenge and pop over and see what the rest of the DT came up with.

Have a good day.

5 Months to Christmas Blog Hop for Fun!

Can you believe the title only 5 months to Christmas!
So I am here this morning to share a couple of cards for the Christmas blog hop that I play along with each month.

I must say that I think these are the quickest two cards that I have ever made.......   The thing is that I got confused with which month we were on and actually made these for last months challenge so for once this post has been ready and waiting to go live for a month!

So the theme this month was non traditional Christmas colours.

I have chosen Black and White which for me isn't a combination that I would usually go for but I quite like the way that the cards turned out :)

The first one is using an image from Penny Black called Snow Joy that I got from The Glitter Pot recently in the Sale :)  Coloured with Promarkers and Polychromo pencils

Paper from stash
Snowflakes Dies - Lil Inker
Embossing Folder - Sizzix
Liquid Pearls and Stickles
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards
Twine - American Crafts

The second card is a super duper speedy card......I must try harder next month girls.

The bauble is cut with Nestabilities
Spruce branch - Doohickey Die
Paper from stash
Card Blank - Craftwork cards
Twine - American Crafts
Stickles - Glitter Dust

Here they are together....
So you now need to pop over to the lovely Sandy

Mary
LeeAnn (Guest Designer)

Thanks for popping over today.
