Blue and White at Ladybug Crafts Ink

Good morning,
How are you all doing today?  Well I am back from a week away in Cromer and am feeling very chilled and relaxed.  We had a fabulous time and although it's nice to be home I am missing being by the seaside :(

I am here today to share a card for the latest challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink .  The theme is Blue and White.....you don't have to use a LCI image but it would be great if you did.

As ever I was running out of time so it's a super quick card from me........using Dancing Nikki......hope I can get away with the ribbon being cream and blue.....maybe head Ladybug Kerry won't notice!  I might get my P45 :(
The image is stamped directly onto the card base and the dress has been paper pieced. The rest of the image is coloured with Polychromo pencils.
Sentiment is also from Ladybug Crafts Ink.
Ribbon and twine from stash.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you can join us for the challenge.

Have a good day.

Get Krafty at Ladybug Crafts Ink

Morning blogging friends,
It's time for another challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this time I have chosen the theme
Get Krafty
Just use kraft card stock on your card...

I have chosen one of the older images called Christmas Pudding Attack and is available here     This image always makes me smile :)

I love using kraft card stock with white and red card so that was the theme for my card.
The image is coloured with Polychromo pencils as usual :) and the cut out using a stitched square die from Lil Inkers.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the twine from my stash.

I haven't had much time again to craft so it's another CAS card from me.
Hope you can join us for the challenge....pop over and see the fab cards from the rest of the Ladybugs.

have a good day and I will try and catch up with you all soon.

Sledging Buddies

Good morning blogging friends....
It's damp and cold and the perfect day to play in your craft room.
I was tempted to go to the NEC but I don't need any more crafty stash....most of my cards are so CAS these days that all I need is some card stock, ribbon, twine and my favourite pencils!   So watch this space as I think there could well be some blog candy appearing soon.

As I see from some of your posts we are all very busy and don't seem to have a lot of time for blogging and crafting these days....it is the same with me....I do have some cards to share though that I managed to make the other week.

I have used the very cute Sledging Buddies stamp from Lili of the Valley.

I used a blue and white check card stock to make the base.
The image is coloured with Polychromo pencils with stickles added.
Ribbon and twine from stash.

Another card to share made using A Star on Top...

I would like to enter a couple of challenges

Brown Sugar Challenge - Anything Goes
Craftitude- Use String/Twine
Totally Papercrafts - Use Glitter

Have a great day.

O Christmas Tree....

So many ideas and not enough time....... My head is full of ideas for Christmas cards but time is not on my side again :(
I have been struggling with digi images lately and the lines smudging when I colour with my Polychromo pencils.  The only thing I have changed is the card stock so I asked Uncle Google for some advice and the suggestion was to spray the image with a fixative before colouring it.   A cheaper alternative that was suggested as a fine spray of hair spray .............. well it seems to be working!

Here is the card that I experimented with yesterday..... The image is from Sassy Cheryls and is called Max's Charlie Brown Tree
The picture is not very good as it was getting late and ended up taking the photo in artificial light.

Coloured with Polychromo pencils blended with Sansador.
Sentiment - Computer generated.
Twine - from stash

I would like to enter the following challenge

Addicted to CAS - One layer cards

Thanks for popping by.
Hello to my lovely new followers....glad you could join me.
Have a great day.

This week we are sponsored by

With this fabulous prize for our lucky winner.

So for my card this week I have used a High Hopes Rubber Stamp called ......Havin a Ball Snowy.

Twine from stash
***I don't know if anyone can help me but I have recently changed the cardstock I use to The Papermill direct but I am having problems colouring digi images as the lines just smudge.  Never had this problem at all before using my pencils on my previous card...love the card but very sad as I can't successfully colour any digis at the moment.....I am going to ask Uncle Google but if anyone has any tips or anything that I am completely missing please let me know :) ***

Thanks for popping over...hope you can join us for the challenge.
Have a great day.
