Easel Cards at Ladybug Crafts Ink

It is Tuesday again so that means that it is time for another challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink
For this fortnight the lovely Kath wanted us to make an easel card.  We are showcasing another of my favourite collection of images and that is the super cute Magnum.


This really was a challenge for me and it turned out as yet another CAS card!  The image I used is called Tiptoeing Lily and is available as a stamp over in the shop :)   There are some fantastic Magnum images and I'm sure you will find one for every occasion.  I just love him :)

Golfing Teddy

Hello, Is it Friday yet...almost there.  It hasn't been the best week at work but I guess that's the way it goes.

Over the weekend I made a couple of male cards as I seem to be lacking a few cards for  the men!

This one is using a forgotten stamp which I have had for such a long time and I think he has only seen ink once :(

Birthday Fishes

Hello to you all, hope you had a lovely Easter weekend....it went far too quickly for my liking but it is only a couple of weeks and then we have another long Bank Holiday weekend :)))

I managed a little bit more crafting over the weekend and I am trying to use some of my stash that has been long neglected.


Before I get onto my card there a couple of things to remind you of .....you still have another week to join in at Ladybug Crafts Ink where the theme is White on White.

Secondly there is a DT call over at Winter Wonderland - if you want to get ahead with your Christmas cards then here is the perfect opportunity.  You have until the 26th April to apply :)


So onto my card  - image was from Pollycraft before the doors were sadly closed on the shop by the lovely Paula :(

So here is my card using the image called Nipper.

Coloured with Polychromo pencils.
I have had quite a number of questions regarding my colouring and what I use.  Well after a lot of practising I have found that the white plain card stock 250 gsm from Papermill Direct gives a great finished result.  I then have also found that the Derwent blending stumps are great as they are quite soft and makes blending a lot easier.  I then use either Sansador or Zest it to blend the pencils.   Hope that helps :))

I used an image from Pink Petticoat and made yet another CAS card

Friends Furever

Good morning,
Looks like we are in for another beautiful sunny day here in the UK :)

I am trying to blog a bit more regularly ........ not sure how long that will last though!

So today I have another CAS card using There She Goes Clear Stamp from the Puppy Love Collection set.  I have had this set for a long time and never really used it but I have already made 3 cards from the stamp set so that is good news.
  I am trying to go back and use some stamps that haven't seen the light of day and re use some of the older ones.  It is amazing to see how different they look now I am colouring using pencils and hope to do a few comparison posts using the same image that I coloured a few years ago and then show the difference now.

Anyway here is my card.....

We had some fantastic entries to our last challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink......this fortnight we have a new challenge and the theme this fortnight has been chosen by the lovely Susan and is White on White....

The DT are showcasing images from the Floral Delights collections and I don't think you will be disappointed.

I have used an image from Floral Delight 3 called Wild Flowers...you can find the image here along with loads more great images

I have used my Polychromo pencils to colour the image and using Sansador to blend.

Easter Card

I am having such a lazy weekend.....my Bestest friend Robyn came to stay on Friday night and yesterday we played in my craft room.  We had a fab day and even managed a couple of cards!   We don't spend enough time together so we must make a plan to catch up again soon!
The laziness has carried on into today and I think I will be doing the bare minimum I can get away with today :)

Birthday Challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink

Hope you are all doing ok,  
I am here today to share my card for the next challenge at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  This time the lovely Lyndsey has chosen the theme of Birthdays and we are showcasing Cupcake Cuties.  I love these images and they will all be special as they were the very first LCI stamps that I ever purchased.

They are now available as digital images in the shop for £1.75.....there are four altogether so why not pop over and treat yourself.  They are great for kids and adults alike....... :)

I loved colouring this image in and decided to use kraft card stock for a change.
