Fly with Me....

Its Saturday!!  So what are you up to today?  We have got a lovely day to look forward to today as my bestest friend Robyn and her husband Peter are going up to Derby with Mike and I to meet my Mum and Dad and spend the day together.  I know Robyn is missing her Mum as she is back home in South Africa so she can have an adopted Mum :)

I had another play with my watercolour pencils and this is what I came up with.


Image is Penny Black - Fly with Me - I have added some very subtle colour to the background using chalks which doesn't really show in the photo.

    I love the card Beastest Friend!! I think the pencils are the way to go. The shading is always perfect and it's not too difficult to grasp for beginners like me!

    I can't wait to meet your Mum and Dad - I didn't sleep all that well because I was so excited!! See you in bit! xxx

    Aww this is SO sweet! Great layout and borders. Gorgeous image and love the colouring you have done with watercolour pencils. My dad has some of those - hmm.. might have to borrow them LOL
