Photo Inspiration - Ladybug Crafts Ink

Good morning,
Hope you all managed to escape the worst of the storm over the weekend.  We got off lightly in the West Midlands....our road was flooded but passable, other than that just very windy and wet!

So another 2 weeks have flown by since the last challenge and new release at Ladybug Crafts Ink....how cool were the Skinny Malinky's?  Hope you liked them.

This week we have a photo inspiration challenge that was set by the lovely and talented Lisa.  Unfortunately Lisa has said Goodbye to the Ladybugs but we are all very much hoping she will come back to us as we are missing her already!

Our challenge for the next fortnight is Photo Inspiration

I was inspired to dig out one of the very first images that I purchased from Ladybug Crafts Ink :)
She is too cute and is one of the Cupcake Cuties.....  have a look at the other cuties here

The card was made from white card stock from The Papermill Direct.
Image coloured with Polychromo pencils.
Background paper from My Minds Eye
Twine from stash
Sentiment from Craftwork cards
Image cut out with Lil Inker stitched square die.

Hope you can join us for the challenge...whatever inspired you from the picture we would love to see it and it would be eve better if you used a Ladybug Crafts Ink image but not compulsory.

Take care and I will see you at the end of the week with another DT card.

2 months to Christmas Blog Hop Just for Fun

Hello to you all,
Hope you are doing ok.

Well as you can see from the title....I hate to remind you but Christmas is fast approaching!  Are you all organised! lol!

I am here today with a group of girls who make a couple of Christmas cards each month and so now we all hopefully have a few cards stashed away.

This month is a photo inspiration theme...here is the picture

My first card is the super cute Fizzy Moon and my inspiration is mainly the red and white

The card blank is made from white card stock from The Papermill Direct.
The image is coloured with Polychromo pencils and then I have added some stickles glitter glue and liquid pearls to the centre of the Poinsettia.
I love colouring this little fella.......too cute!
Embossing folder for the background.
Ribbon from Hobbycraft and twine from my stash.

I have gone for the red and white again on this card and also the Christmas Wreath

Sorry about the photograph.....not very easy to take virtually all white cards :(
The wreath is a Tim Holtz die - Holiday Wreath cut from white card stock.  I have finished it with liquid pearls and stickles glitter glue.  The sentiment is from Craftwork cards and the bakers twine from my stash.

Hope you can join in our little hop and maybe pick up some inspiration for your Christmas cards

Here is the order

Please scroll down for my Ladybug Crafts Ink DT Card and Blog Hop post

Morning to you all,
I know I keep saying it but where is the time going to!  So we are halfway through October already!   Christmas will be here before we know it!

Part Two of our Birthday Blog Hop starts toady......you can find all the details here on the main challenge blog.   Remember to leave a comment on each of the DT blogs and on the challenge blog to be in with a chance of winning a fab prize from The Hobby House.

I am here to share my card with you based on the theme Autumn Colours which is the challenge over at Ready Teddy Go

We are sponsored by Stamp Fairy    who are offering a $10 voucher for the winner of our challenge.   There were a couple of images for the DT to use from the super talented Gerda  :)

I chose Barry Pumpkin and coloured him with Polychromo pencils blended with Zest it.  I glazed the pumpkin with Glossy Accents and of course couldn't resist a bit of glitter.

Time is not on my side at the moment so yet another CAS card.

I used Die-namics die for the scallop.
Twine and Bakers twine from stash
Sentiments - Computer generated.
Clear Gloss and Stickles glitter glue on the pumpkin.

Thanks for popping over...hope you can join the challenge and also the Birthday hop . Next stop on the blog hop is the lovely talented Claire.   For the order of the hop go back to the challenge blog so that you don't miss anybody out.

Have a good day.

New Release at Ladybug Crafts Ink and a Blog Hop

Morning everyone,
Hope you are all well this morning.

I am here to share some news of another new release at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  I think you are going to love the new Skinny Malinky release.  To showcase the new release we are having a blog hop :)
So you should have arrived here from the very talented Rose  if not you can find the correct order on the main challenge blog     You need to collect a letter from each DT's blog and then spell out a word.  Once you have the word email your answer to ......... lcichallengeblog@aol.com

None of the DT have seen the collection, only the image that we have used for our cards so we are as excited as you.

I didn't have a huge amount of time to play and so came up with a very CAS card.....seems that this really is my style now.

So here is Hilary - Skinny Malinky.  She is available over at Ladybug Crafts Ink for £1.75. There are 6 new images released today and 6 more next Tuesday :)

So onto my card....
I coloured Hilary with Polychromo pencils and added some glitter.
Cut and matted using oval nesties.
Ruby Slipper Bazzil Basics cardstock.
Gorgeous red check ribbon is also from Ladybug Crafts Ink and you can see the details  here
Sentiment - Forever Friends

Next stop on the hop is the lovely and very talented Lyndsey
The letter you need from me is "i"

Thanks for popping over today.
Hope you can pop over and see what the rest of the DT came up with.

Less is More White on White Christmas

What a beautiful weekend we have had here in the UK..... it has been like a Summers day today :)

It has been so long since I entered a challenge but this week at Less is More inspired me to get cracking with some White on White Christmas cards.   I actually came up with 3 designs so thought I would enter one into the challenge.

Here it is ....... I think it's the same as everybody these cards are incredibly hard to photograph even in the beautiful weather.

A very simple card ..... the snowflake and stitched square dies were from Lil Inker.
The white card which is my favourite at the moment is from Paper Mill Direct.
The snowflake is finished off with a self adhesive gem.

Well that's all from me......I will try and get round to visit you but I just never seem to have enough hours in the day.

Enjoy your evening.......looking forward to the return of "Homeland " tonight :)

Winter Wonderland DT - Buttons and Bows

Morning everyone,
Its my turn to host the challenge over at Winter Wonderland this week and the theme is
Buttons and Bows

We are sponsored this week by Crafty Ribbons
They are offering some of their gorgeous new Christmas ribbons.

Now onto my card ......I have used the super cute Barkley from Crafters Companion for my card this week.

I have coloured the image with Polychromo pencils blended with Zest it.

Paper is from Nordic Christmas Pad - Papermania.  Its a great pad as it has some textured linen paper and this sheet is actually pearlescent which looks great in real life. You will have to take my word for it!
The Ribbon and twine was from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop before they closed down.
Buttons from stash.

Thanks for looking, hope you have been inspired to pop over and join us. Don't forget to see what the rest of the team came up with.
Have a good day.

Stitching or Paper Piercing at Ladybug Crafts Ink

It's time for another challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this fortnight the lovely Julie has chosen

Stitching or Paper Piercing

Again this is another quick card from me.....I already had the image coloured :)

These rectangular cards are my favourite at the moment....loving them.

The image is available from Ladybug Crafts Ink for £1.75 and is called Window Seat Billie.....isn't she just the cutest lil bear!

The paper piercing has been done using a die cut stitched square on both the red and kraft card.

The hearts are cut using x-cut nesting heart die
Twine is also from Ladybug Crafts Ink
Sentiment - Internet

Hope you can pop over and see what the rest of the team came up with! I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Sorry I am not being good at commenting on your blogs at the moment........not enough hours in the day.

Thanks for popping over today.
