Paper Artsy Flowers - CAS strikes again!!!

Good evening, how are you all doing?

I haven't had much time for blogging lately so thought I would pop on quickly and share a couple of CAS cards that I made a few weeks ago.  I thought I had already blogged one of them but it doesn't look like it when I scroll through the posts.

The images are from PaperArtsy and I have coloured the first two with Polychromo pencils and the last one with Inktense pencils.

Well there isn't much to tell you apart from work is rubbish at the moment, I just want it all to fall into place but somehow it's not looking pretty at the moment.

CAS with Billie Bear at Ladybug Crafts Ink

Hope you are all doing OK.  
I have been doing some more crochet so will share another make with you later in the week.....I really am loving it!

I am here to share a card for my challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink.....the theme had to be CAS and also to use one of my favourite image collections...Billie Bear.

For this card I have used Knitting Billie

Coloured with Polychromo pencils

Stitched rectangle die from MFT

Embossing folder I think is Cuttlebug one.

Sentimment - Woodware

A little bit more crochet....

Excuse the pun......but....I am well and truly hooked....

I made another mug cosy at the weekend....took a couple of hours.......  I think they would make great gifts :)

Crochet again and the lovely Janey!

Morning to you all,
Hope you are all doing OK....Monday morning has come round again very quickly!

I managed to fit in some playtime with the wool and crochet hook again..... It is all beginning to make a little bit more sense to me and I managed to follow a pattern albeit a very very simple pattern....thanks to Anna over at Crochet n Play for the free pattern for the Mug Cozy :)

So here is my attempt.......

The weekend was good, I went to a Ukulele festival on Saturday in Leamington which was good fun and I managed to see the lovely Janey playing with the Leamington Strummers, then off to  a hen party on Saturday evening for the lovely Michelle. 

Check out Janey Smith on YOuTube doing a SW version of "I will survive" called I will Optimise...well worth a look :)

Bucket O Blooms...

Hello again,
I am back with a card that I made last weekend using an image from Ladybug Crafts Ink called Bucket 'O' Blooms........it is available as a digi image for £1.75 along with other fantastic images :)
I used Inktense pencils to colour it...still getting the hang of them....

Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries.......

Yay, it's Friday and the weekend starts here!

So glad that this week is over in terms of work!!  

I thought I would pop on and share a card that I made the other weekend using an image from Penny Black Transparent set called Homemade.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink Markers.......I am still loving them!

The base card is made from Bazzil Basics card stock

Wool and Hooks for a change!

Good evening to you all.....

I have been a busy been at work with lots of driving and no time for blogging or crafting  :(  But thought I would share my new love for wool and hooks!

Three years ago while we were on holiday in Norfolk I bought a crochet magazine with free wool and free crochet hook and I managed with a lot of perseverance to learn a couple of stitches....   

I managed to make a blanket ....I Started off and just kept on going...it is kind of out of shape but not bad for a first attempt!    

Since then I have been trying to find someone who lives near me who can crochet but to no avail.....   There is however a sewing shop in Kenilworth that holds classes for crochet but they are usually on a Wednesday lunch time.  I spotted on their last list of classes that they have started to hold a class every month on a Saturday morning!  

I went along last Saturday and the teacher was great.....only 3 of us for the class so lots of time to spend with each of us.  We practiced the basic stitches

Since then I have been following a YouTube video to make the squares above....easier than it looks to be honest.

So watch this space and hopefully I can make another blanket or at least a cushion cover! There are so many wonderful projects on Pinterest too......I think this is my new favourite thing!

A Favourite

Morning crafty friends,
Hope you have had a good week so far :)   Mine has been OK I guess....trying not to get too stressed with the amount of work I have got to do!   The weekend will soon be here again :)

Watering Can

I am trying to post more regularly which is easier when I have a stash of cards to share.  I have quite a few on hand so hope you will keep popping by.

As I said in Monday's post I am enjoying digging out some older images and colouring them with my latest pens/pencils either Derwent Inktense or Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

Fishbowl O' Roses at Ladybug Crafts Ink

Good morning to you all,

It's Tuesday so that means it's time to let you know that you still have another week to join us for our Anything Goes challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink
Do you like the new release "Bloomin Fabulous".......hope you have checked them all out in the shop here .......if not then head over there now.

For my card I have used the image called Fishbowl O Roses.....

So this image was coloured with Derwent Inktense pencils....I am still getting the hang of them as they are very different to other colouring pencils..   I just think more practice is needed :)
