One Layer Card Embossing

I wasn't even sure where to start with this weeks Less is More challenge but the lovely Helen (Molecraft) inspired me to dig out the embossing paste and my stash of brass stencils!!!
I don't think the embossing paste looks as shiny as on Helens or the design anywhere near as adventurous but it was good fun using something that again hasn't seen the light of day for a while!  Thanks Helen :)   I think I need to perfect the technique as the wording is slightly smudged.
Simples........

Make it Monday #35

As I am not usually crafting on a Monday I thought I would join in with the Make it Monday Crafting Bloggers!
I had a bit of a tidy up in my craft room earlier and discovered a pack that I had bought from Craftwork Cards with the thought of using the kit straight away.......lol.  I think I must have had it for 2 months and it has seen the light of day but only for me to have a look at the cute images of Warren and then place them back in their folder on the shelf.  So today I have coloured a couple of the images which are quick to colour in as they have quite a lot of shading already.
A couple of quick cards made with them.

I have used Copics and Promarkers to colour both images.
The papers for the first one are Stella and Rose - My Minds Eye.  This has been a favourite as there aren't many pages left in the stack!

The papers on this were free with Creative Cardmaking Summer Edition a while ago and are NitWit papers.
Both sentiments are from Craftwork Cards too.

Well thanks for stopping by.
Hope your day has been good.
I am just off for a swim now :)

See you all later.
Hugs Sally xxx

New Baby

I thought Tatty Teddy would be perfect for a New Baby card and I think he worked out quite well.
It is a really simple layout and very quick to make.
The paper is from a DCWV stack that I have had for ages.
I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the centre piece.
I used some mini alphabet stamps for the sentiment on the Card Candy.
Hope you have a great day whatever you do. I really could get used to working 4 days a week or even 3!
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Secret Crafter Challenge A card for a Baby.

So I am off for a swim later. Just off to have a tidy in my craft room.
Catch you all soon.
A big HELLO to my new followers it's great that you could join me and I just want to say THANK YOU to those of you that visit me regularly it is always great to read your comments.
