2 months to Christmas Blog Hop Just for Fun

Hello to you all,
Hope you are doing ok.

Well as you can see from the title....I hate to remind you but Christmas is fast approaching!  Are you all organised! lol!

I am here today with a group of girls who make a couple of Christmas cards each month and so now we all hopefully have a few cards stashed away.

This month is a photo inspiration theme...here is the picture

My first card is the super cute Fizzy Moon and my inspiration is mainly the red and white

The card blank is made from white card stock from The Papermill Direct.
The image is coloured with Polychromo pencils and then I have added some stickles glitter glue and liquid pearls to the centre of the Poinsettia.
I love colouring this little fella.......too cute!
Embossing folder for the background.
Ribbon from Hobbycraft and twine from my stash.

I have gone for the red and white again on this card and also the Christmas Wreath

Sorry about the photograph.....not very easy to take virtually all white cards :(
The wreath is a Tim Holtz die - Holiday Wreath cut from white card stock.  I have finished it with liquid pearls and stickles glitter glue.  The sentiment is from Craftwork cards and the bakers twine from my stash.

Hope you can join in our little hop and maybe pick up some inspiration for your Christmas cards

Here is the order

5 Months to Christmas Blog Hop for Fun!

Can you believe the title only 5 months to Christmas!
So I am here this morning to share a couple of cards for the Christmas blog hop that I play along with each month.

I must say that I think these are the quickest two cards that I have ever made.......   The thing is that I got confused with which month we were on and actually made these for last months challenge so for once this post has been ready and waiting to go live for a month!

So the theme this month was non traditional Christmas colours.

I have chosen Black and White which for me isn't a combination that I would usually go for but I quite like the way that the cards turned out :)

The first one is using an image from Penny Black called Snow Joy that I got from The Glitter Pot recently in the Sale :)  Coloured with Promarkers and Polychromo pencils

Paper from stash
Snowflakes Dies - Lil Inker
Embossing Folder - Sizzix
Liquid Pearls and Stickles
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards
Twine - American Crafts

The second card is a super duper speedy card......I must try harder next month girls.

The bauble is cut with Nestabilities
Spruce branch - Doohickey Die
Paper from stash
Card Blank - Craftwork cards
Twine - American Crafts
Stickles - Glitter Dust

Here they are together....
So you now need to pop over to the lovely Sandy

6 Months til Christmas Blog Hop for Fun.....

Well where do the days keep going to.....I thought I would have lots of time to make the cards for this months hop when I got back from my week away but my MOJO had other ideas.  Isn't that typical that when you have the time to sit and play nothing seems to flow.
So finally on Saturday I made two of the quickest cards ever, I sat writing the post only to realise that I had made cards for next months theme......Oh dear so I was not happy at all.   I made two more in super quick time on Sunday to fit the theme for this month which was a photo inspiration.

I have picked up on the Snowman and the Red and White from the picture.

So here are my cards for the 6 months to Christmas blog hop

First up is a card using a cute Snowman Stamp from Stampavie - Penny Johnson

The image is coloured with Polychromo pencils and Promarkers
Stickles - Glitter Glue
Paper - Papermania Home for Christmas stack
Seam Binding - The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards

My second card is a shadow box card........ not a very good photo

Linen Cardstock - Papermill Direct
Paper - Papermania Home for Christmas Stack
Spruce Branch - Magnolia Doohickey Die
Bakers Twine - American Crafts

Here they are together

Shari wants to get a bit more organised for Christmas and so asked a few friends to join her and have a bit of fun with a mini hop!
The plan is to make 2 cards......one card using a colouring medium and the other one using die cutting medium.

Next month will be 6 months until the big day and we will be offering some candy along the way :)

So here are my creations...

For my die cutting medium I have used Bauble nesties with some patterned paper added.
This was then matted onto red bazzil cardstock.
Sentiment is from Hero Arts and is stamped with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink around the image.
It is finished off with some twine and stickles.

For my colouring medium I have used a mixture of Prisma and Polychromo Pencils...
The image is from Whimsy Stamps illustrated by Crissy Armstrong and is called Snow Fun.
I loved colouring this image as it really made me smile.
Paper is from my stash
Sentiment - Hero Arts
Buttons and Twine from stash.
