Less is More - Yellow

I think it is pretty much the same all over the UK with a rainy Bank Holiday!!! It just wouldn't be the same really without the rain would it!?

So I have been busy doing a few more jobs around the house.........if the truth be known I am getting the place a bit tidier for the Estate Agent comimg on Thursday :)........ fingers crossed he will tell me something good.

I wasn't sure about the colour challenge over at Less is More this week as it isn't a colour that I use that much.   While I was tidying up in my craft room I found a Unity Stamp Set which I thought would do the trick.  So I have inked up the stamp with Yellow ink and then added some stickles and pearls.
The sentiment around the image is from Personal Impressions.

Colour Throwdown 80

Hello everyone,
I found the Color Throwdown blog yesterday and decided to enter........the first challenge I have ever entered.Color Throwdown 80.

I used light green, rust and burgundy paper from Core'dinations Nostalgia ColorCore Cardstock.
The background patterned paper is BasicGrey - Archaic
The stamped flower and Thanks sentiment are from Unity Stamps.
Nestabilities Scalloped Circle and embossing folders from Cuttlebug and Sizzix

I couldn't resist these Unity Stamps they are so versatile. I am not really great at stamping but I am slowly learning and getting the hang of it.
I used a square white card blank that I made myself 6x6" square.
A large red scalloped nestabilitues circle. I stamped the designs on white card using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured in the red parts using Copic Marker - Strong Red R46.
i then added a few sparles of glitter
