Just Cute Bears & Friends Challenge #38

Well hope you are all ok and enjoying the weekend.  I have just been catching up with some of the new creations in blog land as I dont seem to have had much chance over the last week or so.
Last weekend I had a great time with my friend Robyn.  I stayed over on the friday night and we stayed up until almost 1am crafting the night away and then started again about 9ish the following morning.....it was great.
I managed to colour in quite a few images and today I am making some of them into cards.

The Challenge over at Just Cute Bears & Friends is a sketch.
I used a Marianne Design clear stamp from the Winter set which you can see here. I coloured it with a mixture of Copics and Promarkers and then added Stickles and a glitter gel pen to highlight it.
The background papers are from my stash.
Ribbon is Papermania and the snowflakes made with Martha Stewart and Woodware punches.

A Couple of Simple Christmas Designs

I forgot to mention that I went to a Promarker Workshop on Saturday at my local Craft Shop Stampeezee.  The class was run by the super talented Sonia pop  over and see some of her fab creations.
I bought some of the Woodware Stamps that Sonia had been demonstrating with the previous week.
I have made a couple of really simple cards using the Tipsy Tree set and the Christmas Bubble clear set.
It was a really good class and I picked up quite a few tips, I know I still need lots of practice though.
Through blog land I met Sylvie who is now living in Gibraltar but is from Coventry originally. It was great to meet her and I can't wait to see some of her creations with the new stash that she has taken back with her!!
Well I must go now and see what work has in store for the day :(.

Penny Black Challenge Week 123 - Sketch

This week is a sketch challenge over at Penny Black. The sketch has been created by the lovely Debby.

The image I have used is called Candy Cane Perch.
I coloured it using Promarkers and added plenty of stickles for added sparkle.

Penny Black Challenge Week 121 - Don't be Square

The Snow Globe Card will definetely fit the challenge over at Penny Black this week which is Don't be Square
I used the snowman from the Jolly Friends Transparent set, coloured with Promarkers.
The background trees are a Clarity Stamp.  Topped off with a little glamour dust.

The image is Penny Black called Naughty or Nice?
I have coloured with Promarkers and highlighted with glamour dust.  I then cut the image into 3 and used brown chalk ink round the edges.
The setiment stamp is Papermania.
Background snowflake stamp is from Clarity Stamp inked with Versamark white ink.

Sketch Challenge Forever Friends

A big Hello to my new followers.

Despite all the cute and cuddly characters out there I still absolutely love Forever Friends, they always make me smile.
I have made a couple of cards using one of the great Forever Friends Stamps.  One of the cards is for the Sketch Challenge over at Forever Friends

The image is coloured with a mixture of Copics and Promarkers.
Background paper and ribbon from stash.
Snowflakes are made using MS punch and Nestabilities.
All finished off with a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some stickles for added sparkle.

The other card I have used natural shades but think it still works as a Christmas Card without the usual Christmas colours.........see what you think.
